Arsenal to Face Manchester United in FA Cup Third Round

Arsenal will host Manchester United in the highly anticipated FA Cup third round, set for January 2025. This match brings together two of the competition’s most successful clubs, with United, the reigning champions, aiming to defend their title after winning it a record 13 times. Meanwhile, Arsenal, with their 14 titles, are looking to add another to their collection.
Scheduled for the weekend of January 11-12, 2025, the game will take place at the Emirates Stadium in London. In other notable fixtures, Chelsea will take on Morecambe, the current bottom club in League Four. Meanwhile, Manchester City, winners in 2023 and runners-up in 2024, will host Salford City, a team owned by the famed ‘Class of 92’ group, including David Beckham and the Neville brothers.

Liverpool will face Accrington Stanley at home, while Newcastle United will host Bromley, another team from League Two. Spurs will travel to Tamworth, one of the two remaining non-league clubs in the competition. Other ties feature Millwall against Dagenham & Redbridge, and Southampton taking on Swansea.
The third round will feature 44 Premier League and Championship clubs, joining the 20 teams from lower leagues that earned their place in the previous round. All matches are scheduled to take place from January 9-13, 2025.
