Fake Flavour Breaks Silence: “I Earn ₦700k Per Show, But I’m No Scammer”

A Nigerian performer known as “Fake Flavour” has refuted claims that he defrauds people by impersonating renowned highlife musician Flavour N’abania.
The entertainer, who has gained attention for mimicking Flavour’s style and performing his songs, clarified in a recent video that he simply admires the star and never intended to mislead anyone.
According to him, his performance fee ranges between ₦700,000 and ₦800,000 per event — a figure he insists is far below what the real Flavour would ever accept.
“I’m not impersonating Flavour to cheat anyone,” he stated. “I just have deep respect for him. I earn ₦700k–₦800k per show, but Flavour would never charge that little.”
Watch the video below:
“Please, I’m not using Flavour’s name to scām people, I just love Flavour. I get paid ₦700,000 to ₦900,000 for a show, that money is too small for Flavour.”
