The Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Umo Eno, has tragically lost his wife, Patience Eno. She passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024, after battling an undisclosed illness at a hospital, according to an official statement released on Friday by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Ini Ememobong.

“Patience Eno peacefully passed away in the presence of her family,” Mr. Ememobong stated in the release. He added that the family is submitting to the will of God and has asked for prayers and support during this trying period.
