Beloved children’s series Balamory is making its long-awaited return to CBeebies, with two brand-new seasons scheduled for 2026. Fans can expect to see some of the original characters back on screen, as confirmed by the BBC.

First airing over 20 years ago, Balamory charmed young audiences with its colorful portrayal of a fictional island community, originally filmed in the vibrant town of Tobermory on Scotland’s Isle of Mull. The show centered around nursery teacher Miss Hoolie, played by Julie Wilson Nimmo, and featured memorable stories and an iconic theme song, What’s the Story in Balamory?
