Eminem Set to Become a Grandfather as Hailie Jade Announces Pregnancy

US rapper Eminem, known for his profound impact on the music industry, is about to embrace grandfatherhood. The announcement came during the release of his latest music video for the song “Temporary,” which is dedicated to his daughter, Hailie Jade.
The 51-year-old artist shared this heartwarming news through a montage of cherished moments featuring himself and Hailie throughout their lives. A standout moment includes Hailie presenting Eminem with a blue jumper emblazoned with “Grampa 1.” This touching gift is followed by Hailie showing him what appears to be an ultrasound scan, leaving Eminem visibly surprised as he holds it up for the camera.
Later on Thursday, Hailie, 28, confirmed her pregnancy with a heartfelt post on Instagram. She shared images of herself embracing her husband, Evan McClintock, as they gaze lovingly at the ultrasound image, captioning the post: “Mom & dad est. 2025.”

“Temporary,” featuring singer Skylar Grey, is a track from Eminem’s latest album, The Death Of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace), released earlier this summer. In this emotional song, Eminem expresses his hopes for Hailie, stating that it is intended for her to listen to “When I’m no longer here.” He reassures her to stay strong, emphasizing his everlasting presence in her life.
The chorus sung by Grey reinforces the song’s themes of resilience: “In time, I’ll be fine. The tears are temporary.”
Hailie Jade, who wed Evan in May, is Eminem’s only biological daughter from his marriage to Kim Scott. The rapper also adopted two of Scott’s daughters from previous relationships. Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, first gained fame with his iconic 1999 hit “My Name Is” and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2022.
