In a strong call for support ahead of the November 16 gubernatorial election, Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has urged Osun indigenes living in Ondo State to cast their votes for Agboola Ajayi, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate. Adeleke made this appeal during a campaign tour in Ondo, where he was warmly received by Osun indigenes in Akure, the state capital.

Speaking to the crowd, Governor Adeleke emphasized the significance of voter participation, encouraging everyone to ensure their votes make an impact. He also took the opportunity to reflect on his administration’s achievements in Osun, contrasting them with the past 12 years of governance in the state. “We have brought light to Osun, and with God’s help, we can do the same for Ondo,” he stated, expressing confidence in Ajayi’s potential to replicate Osun’s successes in Ondo.

Adeleke further praised the PDP, stressing its dedication to advancing the people’s interests, and urged voters to stand firm and support the party. He reassured the crowd that with Ajayi’s grassroots experience, the change they had witnessed in Osun could also be realized in Ondo.
