Operatives of the Nigeria Airforce have successfully transported sensitive election materials to Akure, the capital of Ondo State, in preparation for the upcoming Governorship election on Saturday, November 16, 2024.

In a statement issued on Monday, November 11, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed that the materials had been received by officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) upon arrival in Akure. The materials, crucial for the election process, were conveyed safely and are now in the custody of designated authorities.
