Liverpool to Face Brighton as EFL Cup Fourth-Round Draw Heats Up

The draw for the fourth round of the Carabao Cup has set up some exciting matchups, with reigning champions Liverpool heading to Brighton. Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur will play host to Manchester City in one of the standout fixtures of the round.

Manchester United welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford, and Aston Villa will face Crystal Palace in another all-Premier League clash.

Three Championship clubs remain in the competition. Sheffield Wednesday will travel to Brentford, Stoke City is set to visit Southampton, and Preston North End will play Arsenal at home.

AFC Wimbledon, the lowest-ranked team still in contention, has yet to play their third-round tie against Newcastle United, which was postponed due to flooding at their home stadium. The match will now take place at St James’ Park on October 1st, with the winner hosting Chelsea in the next round.

The fourth-round ties are scheduled for the week commencing October 28.
