Manchester United Secures Young Talent Chido Obi-Martin from Arsenal

Manchester United has officially secured the signing of Chido Obi-Martin, following his departure from Arsenal. The Premier League gave the green light for the transfer of the 16-year-old striker, as reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via The Sun. Obi-Martin has successfully passed his medical and is ready to sign his contract with the club.
United’s new teenage prospect will need some time to reach full fitness and settle into his new surroundings, having missed out on pre-season activities. The Red Devils pursued Obi-Martin throughout the summer after his two-year stint at Arsenal’s youth academy, where he joined from Copenhagen in 2022.

Obi-Martin made a name for himself in Arsenal’s youth setup, delivering standout performances, including a remarkable 10-goal display in a match against Liverpool. Last season, he scored 32 goals in just 18 matches, securing the under-18 Premier League golden boot. His feats include a seven-goal haul against Norwich and hat-tricks against teams like Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Despite his young age, Obi-Martin has already showcased his talent on social media, posting training footage of his exceptional finishing skills. Though eligible to represent Nigeria, the rising star has already represented both England and Denmark at youth levels, recently playing for Denmark’s under-18 team and helping them reach the semi-finals of the under-17 Euros in May.
