The UK Embassy in Nigeria has officially confirmed a change in the management of its visa application centres. On Tuesday, the embassy announced that a new supplier would take over operations, which may impact some applicants’ document submission and collection processes.

In a statement posted on its X (formerly Twitter) account, the embassy informed the public that individuals affected by this change would be notified directly via email with updated instructions.

“The supplier of our visa application centres in Nigeria is changing. During this transition, some customers may submit and collect their documents from different locations. You will be contacted via email if this affects you,” the statement read.

Despite the changes, the visa application centres in Abuja and Lagos remain open and operational, continuing to serve applicants in those cities. However, applicants are reminded to make appointments before visiting these centres to avoid any inconvenience.
