Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja and Port Harcourt International Airport have earned prestigious accolades from Airport Council International (ACI Africa) for their exceptional dedication to “Airport Emergency Management and Resilience.”

The awards were presented during the 33rd Annual General Assembly of ACI Africa, held in Johannesburg, South Africa, where both airports received recognition during the Gala Night ceremony.

Tunde Moshood, Special Assistant for Media and Communications to the Honourable Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, shared that the awards were presented by ACI Africa’s Secretary-General, Ali Tounsi, and President, Emmanuel Chaves. These honors underscore the commitment and diligence of all personnel involved in enhancing airport emergency management and resilience.
