Nnamdi Kanu’s Crucial Trial Resumes Today at Federal High Court, Abuja

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), is set to continue his trial today, Tuesday, at the Federal High Court in Abuja, barring any last-minute changes.
Kanu has been on trial since his controversial rearrest and repatriation from Kenya to Nigeria in 2021, facing terrorism-related charges brought against him by the Nigerian government.
Aloy Ejimakor, Kanu’s lead counsel, issued a public notice confirming today’s hearing: “As scheduled, MAZI NNAMDI KANU’s case will be heard TODAY (24th Sept) at 10 AM, instead of the usual 12 noon. The venue remains the Federal High Court, Abuja, and #MNK will be present. This hearing is crucial.”
