Tinubu and Wife Return from Brazil After G20 Summit

The summit, which took place from November 18 to November 19, 2024, provided an opportunity for President Tinubu to engage in key bilateral discussions aimed at boosting Nigeria’s socio-economic reforms. Hosted by Brazilian President Lula da Silva, the event focused on “Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet.” Key topics included sustainable development, global governance reforms, climate change, and the digital economy.

Leaders from the world’s 20 largest economies, along with representatives from the European Union and African Union, gathered to tackle pressing global challenges. The Nigerian delegation included top officials such as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Maiha, Minister of Art, Tourism, Culture and Creativity, Hannatu Musawa, and the Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Security, Dr. Aliyu Abdullahi, among others.
