Cubarsi, who first appeared for Barcelona at just 16, left the game with a visibly bloodied face and required immediate attention before his substitution. His manager, Hansi Flick, reassured fans following the game, stating, “He needed stitches, but he’s fine,” calming concerns over the defender’s health.
The club later posted a photo of a smiling Cubarsi, accompanied by the caption, “I’m OK,” a welcome message to fans after the dramatic injury.
