A cab driver associated with Indrive has issued a legal threat against Nigerian actress Adunni Ade following a dispute regarding a package delivery. The incident began on September 18, 2024, when Ade took to Instagram to publicly call out the driver, Frances Njoku, accusing him of absconding with her package and ignoring her attempts to contact him.

Ade’s post quickly gained traction on social media, attracting support from her followers who joined in condemning Indrive for the driver’s actions. Later that night, she revealed that Njoku had finally delivered the package after his account was reportedly locked by the platform.

However, tensions escalated when Njoku responded by threatening legal action against Ade for what he described as defamation. He claimed in a message, “You have made nonsense of my image… I have contacted my legal team and we’ll see you in court. You must render an unreserved apology and ask Instablog to pull the post down.”

In response, Ade shared additional screenshots of her communications with both Njoku and her fashion designer, providing context to the situation. She stood by her allegations, stating, “One thing about me is I do not lie nor cheat my fellow being. When we speak of change, let that change start with you! With the current economic state, everyone is doing what they can to stay afloat irrespective of your finances.”

She concluded her message by expressing her disappointment with Njoku’s behavior, labeling him as “rude, uncivilized, ill-mannered, arrogant, entitled.”
