Celebrating Independence: Public Holiday Declared for Nigeria’s 64th Anniversary

The Federal Government has officially announced that Tuesday, October 1, 2024, will be a public holiday in honor of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Day. This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, in a statement released on Saturday by Dr. Magdalene Ajani, the Permanent Secretary in the ministry.
In his message, Tunji-Ojo extended congratulations to Nigerians both at home and abroad, commending their patience and dedication. He emphasized that the hard work and sacrifices of the Nigerian people will not go unnoticed.
