EFCC Seizes Luxury Items from Suspected Fraudster in Abuja

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has successfully apprehended a suspected internet fraudster in Abuja, seizing multiple luxury items during the operation. The arrest occurred on November 27, 2024, at No. 25 Aliyu Modibbo Street, Guzape Hills, based on credible intelligence regarding the suspect’s involvement in fraudulent activities.

Among the items recovered were a 2019 Range Rover Velar, $4,100 in cash, two million Naira, a silver AP wristwatch, two mobile phones, and a laptop. The EFCC confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and the suspect will be charged in court once the inquiry is complete.
