Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed profound sorrow on Saturday regarding the untimely passing of Fatima Kyari, daughter of the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari. Fatima passed away on Friday after battling a prolonged illness at just 25 years old.

Her death has prompted an outpouring of condolences from family, friends, and other prominent Nigerians, highlighting the impact she had on those around her.

In a heartfelt message issued from Abuja through his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, Ganduje conveyed that the loss felt by Kyari’s family extends beyond their immediate circle, resonating with all who valued her presence.

Ganduje acknowledged the indescribable pain of losing a child, stating, “No words can truly express the heartache of such a loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mallam Mele Kyari and his entire family during this challenging time. We pray that the Almighty Allah grants her eternal rest and provides strength to her family to endure this irreplaceable loss.”

He further prayed for divine mercy and comfort for the grieving family, encouraging them to find solace in the understanding that Fatima’s time on earth has come to a peaceful end.
