In a stern warning, Pastor Lazarus Muoka, the General Overseer of The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, has cautioned controversial social media influencer, Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, against speaking ill of his church. Muoka stated that if God’s anointed gets angry, “you are finished.” He advised VeryDarkMan to stop his public criticism or risk facing divine consequences.

Addressing his congregation in a video shared by PUNCH Online on Thursday, Muoka referred to the activist’s current predicament, suggesting that he is “learning the hard way” due to his disparaging remarks about The Lord’s Chosen Church.

This warning follows a series of viral social media videos in which church members shared extraordinary testimonies. Among them, one member claimed to have been miraculously saved by a lion during a kidnapping, while another recounted disarming robbers and seizing their AK-47 rifles before securing their arrest. A male churchgoer also shared how he survived multiple attacks, including a kidnapping, machete slashes, and gunshots, all without injury.

Reacting to these stories, VeryDarkMan called on the Christian Association of Nigeria to investigate the church’s claims, accusing the ministry of promoting exaggerated and misleading testimonies. He even threatened legal action against the church over the controversial reports.

Muoka, however, responded by saying, “Somebody came to me and said, ‘Pastor, do you see this man talking against us?’ He mentioned the name VeryDarkMan. I replied that Chosen will not learn anything the hard way, but it will be him who learns the hard way.”

The pastor added, “I didn’t speak ill of him. I merely repeated what he said. But if God’s anointed gets angry with you, it will not end well.”

Muoka’s statement comes amid ongoing controversies surrounding VeryDarkMan, including his disputes with Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky and rapper Falz, along with allegations involving the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS).
