Dressed in a casual flannel button-up shirt, black pants, and a matching black baseball cap, Freeman appeared relaxed yet understated. Notably, he wore a beige compression glove on his left hand, a visible reminder of the 2012 car accident that left him with permanent nerve damage. The injury, which Freeman once described as “excruciating,” has limited the use of his left arm but hasn’t dimmed his spirit. Reflecting on the changes in his life, Freeman told Esquire in 2012, “I have to move on to other things, to other conceptions of myself. I play golf. I still work.”
