Ola Aina Shares Practical Reasons Behind His Sagging Shorts Style

Nigerian international and Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina has revealed the practical reasons behind his tendency to wear sagging shorts during matches. Often noted for his strong presence on the pitch, Aina has sparked curiosity among fans with his distinct style, characterized by shorts that sit lower than usual.
In Nigeria, the trend of sagging shorts refers to wearing clothing below the waistline, sometimes exposing part of the underwear. While many might view this as a fashion choice, Aina explained that his preference is rooted in comfort rather than style.

“From a young age, I’ve always done that,” Aina shared during an interview with Fanstribe, released on Wednesday. “It’s not for fashion or anything; there’s a reason behind it.”
Pointing to his thighs, he humorously remarked, “You see this man? The size? And the one behind,” indicating his buttocks, “It’s too big, so the shorts always go up, and it’s too uncomfortable.”
To combat this issue, Aina opts for larger shorts to enhance his comfort on the field. “That’s why it’s always loose. I choose bigger shorts, you know, and that’s why,” he laughed, adding, “Exactly, now you guys just leave me now.”
