82 Arrested in Kano for Crimes Ranging from Kidnapping to Drug Dealing

Between November 1 and November 14, the Kano State Police Command arrested 82 individuals involved in various criminal activities, including kidnapping, armed robbery, drug trafficking, and phone snatching. These arrests are part of a focused strategy aimed at dismantling criminal networks operating in the region.
According to Police Public Relations Officer SP Abdullahi Kiyawa, the successful operation disrupted criminal groups such as thugs and robbery syndicates along major borders. In addition to the arrests, authorities recovered a range of dangerous items, including firearms, illicit drugs like tramadol, diazepam, and suspected hemp, as well as stolen goods and mobile phones.
