In a generous response to the devastating floods that recently struck Maiduguri, Abdul Samad Rabiu, founder and chairman of BUA Group, has committed N2 billion to assist those affected in Borno State.

This substantial donation includes N1 billion in cash and an additional N1 billion worth of vital food supplies—such as flour, pasta, sugar, and rice—aimed at easing the suffering of impacted communities.

Rabiu’s contribution is designed to provide immediate relief for individuals and families displaced by the floods, with the cash portion earmarked for quick distribution by the state government.

Through the BUA Foundation and the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative (ASR Africa), he has consistently championed community support throughout Nigeria and the continent, especially during times of crisis.
