In celebration of Akwa Ibom State’s 37th anniversary, Governor Pastor Umo Eno hosted a remarkable Thanksgiving Service today at the International Christian Worship Center in Uyo. This significant event brought together both past and present leaders, reflecting a spirit of unity and gratitude.

The service, themed “Peace Within Thy Walls and Prosperity Within Thy Palaces,” attracted a diverse congregation. Notable attendees included the Senate President, represented by his wife, Mrs. Ekaette Unoma Akpabio; Deputy Governor Senator Akon Eyakenyi; and immediate past Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel, alongside his wife, Dr. Martha Udom Emmanuel.

The gathering also honored Architect Obong Victor Attah, the Father of Modern Akwa Ibom, and featured Elder Udeme Otong, the Speaker of the State Assembly, Justice Ekaette Obot, the State Chief Judge, members of the State Executive Council, the National Assembly, and the State House of Assembly, as well as traditional leaders, religious figures, and various socio-cultural groups.
