Bobrisky Opens Up About Leaving Nigeria: A Quest for Health and Sanity

Embattled crossdresser Idris Okuneye, widely known as Bobrisky, has confirmed his temporary departure from Nigeria, citing health and sanity concerns as the primary reasons for his escape.
Following his release from EFCC custody, Bobrisky stated that he chose to leave the country to prioritize his well-being, particularly after facing frustration from various security agencies. Despite numerous challenges that almost disrupted his travel plans, he successfully boarded a flight on his third attempt.
In a candid Instagram post, Bobrisky revealed that he spent a staggering N9.8 million on three business class tickets, seeking a refund from KLM for the unused ones. “Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily… I need to attend to my sanity and my health. A few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me, but I have God on my side,” he shared.

Bobrisky’s post also highlighted the inconvenience he faced, as he had to purchase multiple tickets before successfully flying out. “Imagine!!! Buying a business class ticket three times and only one was successful. @klm, I hope you guys refund me the two I didn’t use. I know it’s not your fault, but it’s fine. Each business class cost me 9,800,000.”
In closing, he addressed critics, stating, “Before you come to my page to type nonsense, check your account balance if you can afford three business class seats, let alone buying them three times. Well, I’m not in Nigeria, so your comments mean nothing. Cheers.”
