Nigerians are buzzing on social media after the latest leaked call recording allegedly featuring popular crossdresser Idris Okuneye, known as Bobrisky. The controversy reignited when social media influencer Martins Otse, better known as VeryDarkMan, shared the recording, claiming it was made on May 16, 2024, and is distinct from an earlier tape he had released.

In this new recording, VeryDarkMan alleges that Bobrisky confessed he was not in prison, but rather in a lavish apartment located close to the prison, among other sensational claims.

The leak has triggered a range of reactions online, with many users expressing shock and skepticism regarding the authenticity of the recording. One user on X (formerly Twitter), tweeting as #Oforma19, remarked, “Only small star Maggi person steal them luck am for prison; imagine Bobrisky with a money laundering case not going to prison.” Another user, #WillsMedia247, added, “Those that Bobrisky trusted are even his worst enemies. He thought he had friends, but it’s a pity he had beasts. Why would a trusted friend betray him?”

The conversation continued, with #fm57661959 questioning Bobrisky’s financial dealings, tweeting, “He-she will tell us the reason he-she gave EFCC some money to drop the money laundering charges if all the money in he-she account is legitimate.” Meanwhile, #AdeyemiOladip14 speculated on the motives behind the recordings, suggesting, “How does he see all the call notes?
