#FearlessOctober1 Protest Sparks in Abuja, Amplifying Calls for Change

The #FearlessOctober1 protest kicked off today in Abuja, with demonstrators gathering in the Federal Capital Territory to voice their frustration over ongoing economic difficulties.

This protest, labeled #FearlessInOctober, continues the momentum from the #EndBadGovernance demonstrations held in early August, as Nigerians call for immediate action from the government to ease their burdens.

By 7 a.m., protesters converged at the bustling Utako market in Abuja, where the demonstration is currently taking place. Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilization for the Take It Back Movement, expressed the growing concerns of citizens, pointing to government policies as the source of the nation’s increasing hardships.
