Governor Adeleke Unveils Ambitious N390bn Budget Proposal for Osun State 2025

Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced an ambitious N390 billion budget proposal for 2025, marking a significant increase in the state’s fiscal plans. Addressing the State House of Assembly, Governor Adeleke presented the budget as a cornerstone for his administration’s commitment to socio-economic progress across Osun.
Governor Adeleke highlighted that this year’s proposed budget is strategically designed to boost infrastructure, elevate social services, and stimulate economic growth. “This budget,” he stated, “is tailored to bring real and lasting improvements to the lives of Osun residents.”
The 2025 budget allocates N144.231 billion to capital expenditure, with plans to drive key infrastructure projects, expand healthcare, strengthen education, and support other critical public services. This focus on capital investments reflects the administration’s intent to deliver sustainable development and enhance the state’s physical and social frameworks.

He voiced optimism that the increased budget would help support ongoing projects while paving the way for new initiatives that align with Osun’s trajectory toward economic growth and social prosperity.
In his appeal to the State House of Assembly members, the governor stressed the need for collective support, reaffirming that the budget aligns with his administration’s goals of inclusive growth and sustainable progress for Osun.
