Lagbaja’s Remains Arrive at National Military Cemetery

The remains of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, have arrived at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja today, marking the beginning of his burial ceremony. The body was transported in an ambulance and arrived at exactly 3:00 p.m., in line with military traditions.
This marks the commencement of a solemn process, where the casket will be carefully placed by pallbearers, followed by a moment of silence from the gathered attendees. The ceremony will feature remarks from the Chief of Defence Staff, the Minister of Defence, and the President, paying tribute to the late military leader.

As the proceedings continue, the national flag will be presented to his next of kin, and the casket will be lowered.
