Libya Deports Seven Nigerians and Others for Violating Laws

Libya’s Department for Combating Illegal Migration (DCIM) has deported 13 individuals, including seven Nigerians, three Bangladeshis, and three Ghanaians, for violating the country’s laws. The deportees were transported from the Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Centre to Benina International Airport in Benghazi for their return to their respective countries.

According to a confirmation from Migrant Rescue Watch on their X account, the deportation was carried out in accordance with Libyan regulations. The statement provided detailed information, stating, “DCIM deported 13 migrants (3 Bangladeshis, 3 Ghanaians, and 7 Nigerians) from the Qanfoudah Immigration Detention Centre via Benina International Airport in Benghazi. All individuals were deported for violating laws in force in the Libyan state.”
