Nasarawa Police Rescue 14 Kidnap Victims, Arrest Five Suspects

Operatives from the Nasarawa State Police Command have successfully arrested five suspected kidnappers and freed 14 victims during a joint operation with local youths. The operation unfolded in a dense forested area along the borders of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Kogi State.
Among those rescued were Adamu Abdullahi, Musa Ahmed, and Auwal Adamu from Kuje in the FCT. The operation also freed several individuals from Lapai, Niger State, including Hussaini Yakubu, Haruna Usman, Jibrin Bature, Isyaka Yakubu, Sule Bello, and Yusuf Yusuf. Additional rescues included Yusuf Tashai and Kabiru Iliya from Rubuchi, FCT, along with Sabo Yakubu, Sagir Iliya, and Yunusa Danladi from Tanshi village, Kuje Area Council, FCT.

Authorities apprehended five suspects linked to the kidnapping scheme: Shuaibu Garba, Umar Mohammed, Yakubu Kasim, Mustapha Adamu, and Abdul Mohammed. The successful operation highlights the collaboration between law enforcement and the community in combating crime and ensuring the safety of residents.
