As Nigerians celebrate the country’s 64th Independence Anniversary, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, declared that Nigeria has the potential to rule the world and defeat corruption. Speaking during the Independence celebrations in Abuja, Olukoyede reinforced the agency’s commitment to tackling corruption and urged the nation to embrace the fight against economic and financial crimes.

In a statement shared on the EFCC’s official X handle (@officialEFCC), Olukoyede called on all Nigerians to actively participate in the Commission’s efforts, emphasizing the importance of the “Renewed Hope Agenda” championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
