President Bola Tinubu has called on media managers across the country to prioritize factual reporting and uphold integrity in their work. Speaking at the All Nigerian Editors Conference in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, Tinubu highlighted the significant role the media plays in shaping national development and public perception.

Represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the President addressed the theme “Economic Growth and Development Strategies in a Resource-Rich Country.” He underscored the importance of media professionals in helping the public understand government actions and the challenges facing the nation.

President Tinubu urged editors and media managers to commit to truth in their reporting, engage constructively with the public, and support government efforts aimed at turning the country’s challenges into opportunities for growth.

Furthermore, Tinubu reaffirmed his belief in Nigeria’s potential, stressing that the country’s human and natural resources are key to its future prosperity. He vowed to lead the charge in unlocking this potential for the benefit of all Nigerians.
