The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged citizens to place a premium on unity and peaceful coexistence as Nigeria celebrates its 64th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement reflecting on this significant occasion, CAN President Archbishop Daniel Okoh underscored the vital role of national unity, social harmony, and religious tolerance in steering the nation toward a prosperous future.

Okoh commended the security forces for their dedication to combating terrorism and banditry while emphasizing the need for ongoing vigilance and support for initiatives aimed at ensuring safety and security.
