President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday, heading to the United Kingdom for a two-week vacation, marking part of his annual leave. According to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the vacation will serve as a “working vacation” during which the President will reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

This trip comes just two weeks after Tinubu’s return from London, where he met with King Charles III. The United Kingdom now becomes his 27th foreign destination since assuming office 16 months ago. In addition to the UK, the Nigerian leader has made official visits to several countries, including the United States, India, Germany, and Saudi Arabia.

The statement highlighted that Tinubu would return to Nigeria after the two-week leave, continuing his focus on driving reforms for the country’s economic recovery.

In recent news, Tinubu’s administration has been receiving mixed reactions from various groups, including calls from the House of Representatives to honor the Speaker with a GCON award, and public support from Nasarawa youths for his leadership.
