The Nigerian Basketball Federation (NBBF) has confirmed the eight teams that will battle it out in the National Finals of the 2024 NBBF/Zenith Bank Women’s Premier League, scheduled to take place at the Indoor Sports Hall of the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, from October 13 to 19.

Zenith Bank Women’s League organisers have revealed that Nigeria Customs, the Savannah Conference champion, will be joined by Titans, Royal Aces, and Air Warriors in the Final 8. From the Atlantic Conference, record-holding First Bank Women’s Basketball team will compete alongside defending champions MFM Women’s Basketball team, last year’s finalists Bayelsa Whales, and former winners Dolphins.

Nigeria Customs dominated the Savannah Conference with 13 victories across two phases held in Lafia and Abuja, earning them 27 points. Titans came second with 11 wins and 25 points. Royal Aces secured third place with 10 wins and 24 points, while Air Warriors rounded out the top four with nine wins and 23 points.

In the Atlantic Conference, MFM bounced back after a rough start in Phase 1 to achieve a flawless performance in Phase 2, finishing second with 11 wins and 25 points. First Bank topped the group with 27 points from 13 wins, while Dolphins came in third with 25 points, closely followed by Bayelsa Whales, who secured the final spot with eight wins and 22 points.
