Guru Maharaj Ji has issued a strong warning to Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, urging him to stop issuing prophecies of doom against Nigeria and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Maharaj Ji emphasized that continuous predictions of disaster only hinder the nation’s progress and insisted that Primate Ayodele should take lessons from past figures like Primate Olabayo and TB Joshua, whose similar negative forecasts, he says, ultimately failed to materialize.

Responding to a recent statement by Primate Ayodele, who claimed that Tinubu’s government lacks solutions to Nigeria’s economic challenges, Satguru Maharaj Ji questioned the purpose of these constant negative predictions. “A true man of God should promote peace, unity, and hope, not gloom,” he stated, suggesting that Ayodele’s prophecies might be politically motivated rather than divinely inspired. According to Maharaj Ji, genuine religious figures strive for harmony and positive change, even if they see hardships on the horizon.

Ayodele’s media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, had previously described Nigeria’s economic situation as “hypertensive,” suggesting that the nation would struggle unless an economic reset occurs—something he doubts the current administration can achieve. However, Guru Maharaj Ji disagrees, stressing that the responsibility of religious leaders should be to uphold the “God of peace, unity, love, and happiness.” He expressed disappointment in what he perceives as Ayodele’s use of religious influence to foster fear and division, calling it “ungodly” and contrary to the duty of spiritual leaders.

Maharaj Ji went further, accusing Ayodele of acting in a way that portrays him as “a politician in cassock,” serving as a mouthpiece for forces aimed at destabilizing Nigeria’s growth. He described Ayodele’s prophecy as a “politically motivated opinion” and condemned it as an “incitement” to the Nigerian people that risks stirring social unrest. Maharaj Ji’s criticism underscored the belief that religious figures must support the government and people through positive actions and messages that inspire rather than deter.

Adding to his admonishment, Maharaj Ji advised Ayodele and other clerics to redirect their efforts from verbal criticisms and curses toward practical actions. “Rather than make pronouncements of doom, clergy should go to the farm to help produce food for the people,” he said, proposing that such contributions would be a more productive way of serving both the people and the government.

Maharaj Ji also affirmed his faith in Nigeria’s resilience, expressing optimism that the country will overcome its economic challenges and eventually reclaim its global prominence.
